Located just outside Ely, Ben’s Yard is a former farmyard reimagined as a lifestyle destination, bringing together places to eat, shop, walk and unwind.  Surrounded by rolling countryside and designed with nature in mind, we offer experiences for the everyday.

Home to a farm shop, café, gym, handcrafted British furniture, gift and lifestyle stores, homeware, hair and beauty, and bridal boutique, Ben’s Yard provides a considered collection of retail experiences all nestled in The Beautifully Landscaped Estate.

We've made the everyday routine joyful with our Wilding Walks, Adventure Playground, Dog Park and seasonal events.

WILDFLOWER WALKS

Beyond the shops and eateries, Ben’s Yard, offers plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy just 5 minutes from Ely. Take a leisurely stroll around the Wildflower Trails and reservoir, enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside, and the beauty of the natural surroundings of Stuntney Estate. The 2.5 km scenic walk is perfect for dog owners, providing ample space for your furry friends to explore.

ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND 

Our Adventure Playground is completely free and is modeled on Ely Cathedral, where the little ones can run wild and let their imaginations soar. This safe and exciting play area will keep children entertained while parents can relax and enjoy the meticulously designed village, and the serenity of the environment.

Ben’s Yard was developed by Victoria and Alastair Morbey, who have revived the Stuntney Estate as a leading destination in which to visit, shop, work and relax. Ben’s Yard is an important part of Stuntney Estate’s ongoing stewardship and place making, offering new energy and employment opportunities to Cambridgeshire.
